Gilbert "Gil" D. Flocker, 86


Gilbert "Gil" D. Flocker, Jr., 86, of Kewaskum, passed away Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011 at Kettle Moraine Gardens.

Gil was born on April 27, 1924 to Gilbert Sr., and Margaret (nee Hutchinson) Flocker in New Brighton, Pa. He was an intelligence Sergeant in the U.S. Army and was the valedictorian of his graduating class at Geneva College. He married Eileen Riegle on Jan. 23, 1946 in Pennsylvania. Gil was voted the "Best Dressed" in Dallas in the early 60s. Gil was the president of Saladmaster Corp. of Dallas for 25 years and was the executive vice-president at Regalware from 1980 until his retirement. Gil loved traveling all over the world and writing motivational speeches. He also loved to golf, go four-wheeling, waterskiing, dancing with Eileen, listening to music, and riding his lawnmower. Gil was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Kewaskum. Gil was an amazing husband, father, grandpa and great-grandpa. He will be dearly missed all who loved him.

Gil is survived by his wife Eileen, children Cathy (Lynn) Green, Janet (Gary) Allen, Gilbert D. (Gail) Flocker III. He is further survived by his grandchildren Lou (Michelle) Saucedo, Brian Saucedo, Holly Marie Flocker, Gilbert D. Flocker IV; great-grandchildren Brittany, Savannah and Matthew Saucedo; sister-in-law Lois (Charles) Neville; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Alfred, sisters-in-law Helen Flocker and Audrey Riegle, brother-in-law William Riegle.

A funeral service for Gil will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 18, 2011 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend with Michael Cox presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until time of service on Friday, Feb. 18.
