Benjamin
William "Ben" Grinwald, 35, of Cedarburg, passed away Monday,
Feb. 21, 2011, at his residence.
Ben was born Sept. 5, 1975, to Diane (nee Brown) Haas
and John Grinwald.
Ben enjoyed music, fishing, playing video games and
loved hanging out with his son Tyler. He was a loyal hard worker, a good
friend and will be fondly remembered for having a tender heart and gentle
spirit.
He is survived by his son, Tyler Grinwald of Tempe,
Ariz.; his mother, Diane (John) Haas of Summit Lake; his father, John (Annamay)
Grinwald of Slinger; his sister, Victoria Grinwald of Butler; his brother,
James Grinwald of Wausau; his grandmothers, Carol Brown of Elcho and Grace
Grinwald of Hartford; and his nieces, Rachel Murphy and Sammantha Grinwald.
He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, step siblings, other
relatives and friends.
Ben was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Russell Grinwald and William Brown; and his nephew, Mason James Grinwald.
Memorial services for Ben will be held on Friday, Feb.
25, at 7 p.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home, 824 Union St., Hartford, with
the Rev. Doug Livingston officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday
from 4 p.m. 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
A trust fund will be established in Ben’s name for his
son Tyler.
