Jerry Lee Reed

Jerry Lee Reed, 61, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2012, at his residence after his long battle with cancer.

Jerry was born on Oct. 27, 1949, to Francis and Virginia (nee Zepp) Reed in Ottumwa, Iowa. After schooling, Jerry was in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He married Penny (nee Clyde) on July 24, 1976, at Holy Hill and was later blessed with two beautiful daughters. He will also be dearly missed by his companions, Riley and Snickers.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Penny; children, Jennifer (fiancé, Matt Mueller) and Kimberly (fiancé, Paul Gromala). He is further survived by his mother, Fran Reed; brothers, Gary (Dianne) Reed, Bobby (Kathy) Reed, Mike Reed, Tim Reed and Richard Cullett; sisters-in-law, Barb (Tim) Holtz and Paula (Fred) Utpatel; brothers-in-law, Dennis (Debbie) Clyde, Randall Clyde and Michael Clyde; and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Frank Reed; sister, Mary Lou Erdmann; in-laws, Delbert and Marilyn Clyde; and sister-in-law, Debbie Clyde.
A funeral service for Jerry will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 4 p.m. until time of service. Interment will take place at Cedar Creek Cemetery.
