Marvin C. Wiesner, 85

Marvin C. Wiesner, 85, of Campbellsport, passed away Thursday Jan. 13, 2011, at Hope Health and Rehab Center in Lomira.

He was born on May 29, 1925, in West Bend, the son of Anton and Nora (nee Wilke) Wiesner. On Aug. 19, 1950, he married Marilyn A. Bastian at St. Johnís Lutheran Church in West Bend. He was a member of St. Johnís Lutheran Church in New Fane. Marvin enjoyed farming, playing cards, dartball, baseball and his family. He especially enjoyed playing with his grandchildren. He was a loving and caring husband and father. He will be sorely missed by all.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; his children, Colleen (Charles) Guell, Jean (Kevin) Rach and Michael (special friend, Carla) Wiesner; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren with the 20th due in February. He is further survived by his sister, Mary; his brothers-in-law and sisters in-law, Curtis and Janet Bastian, Kenneth and Bernice Bastian, Edward and Donna Dahlinger and Gloria Monday; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anton and Nora; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harvey and Erna (nee Sauer) Bastian; and his great-grandchild, Braeden Guell.

Services will be held on Sunday, Jan. 16, at 3 p.m. at St. Johnís Lutheran Church, New Fane, N665 Highway , Kewaskum. The Rev. Mark Eckert will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday Jan. 16, from 1 p.m. until time of services at the church.
