Judy was a technician for 43 years at AT&T. She was a member of the Communication Workers of America, and served as union steward and a member on various union boards. She did volunteer work with the Cedarburg Cultural Center and was a deliverer for Meals on Wheels in Ozaukee County.
At First Immanuel, she was a member of the Ladies Aid Society, the altar guild, the bulletin assembly teams and the newsletter assembly team.
Judy was an active member of the Red Hat Society, and attended the international conventions in Paris and in London. She also went to the national conventions in Orlando, Nashville and Dallas. Judy loved to garden, with the growing of roses as her specialty. Judy was very pleased when she was able to bring a bouquet of roses to her family or friends.
Judy’s family is very grateful to Dr. Burfeind and the oncology staff at St. Mary’s Ozaukee for the extra mile they all cheerfully went while she had treatments there. Their professionalism and concern for her gave a great comfort level to Judy.
Special thanks to the staff at St. Mary’s Ozaukee-Horizon Hospice for their compassionate care this past week.
Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory in Cedarburg is serving the family.
