Margaret P. Brussat, 92

Margaret P. Brussat (nee Hagedorn), 92, of Cedar Lake Community, West Bend, formerly of Milwaukee, was Born to Eternal Life on Jan. 22, 2011.

A large part of Margaretís legacy is a lifetime of volunteer Christian service. For 22 years while raising four children, Margaret individually tutored dozens of children in reading and math, so with special needs and others who had simply fallen behind and had begun to lose hope. In her retirement years, she committed herself to regularly visit and befriend nursing home residents, including 15 years visiting a quadriplegic man with no known family who had lost his ability to speak. Margaret was truly Godís representative on this earth.

Beloved wife of the late Lee Brussat. Loving mother of Thomas (Patricia), Barbara, Gary (Valery) and the late Audrey Fisher. Sister-in-law of Harriet Brussat. Also survived by eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by son-in-law, Dennis Fisher.

Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 29, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Wisconsin Memorial Park-Family Center, 12875 W. Capitol Drive, with a funeral service at 11 a.m. Entombment will be private.

If desired, memorials in Margaretís name may be made to the Cedar Community Foundation in West Bend.
