Beverly ‘Bev’ Reissmann, 81
Beverly "Bev" Reissmann (nee
Sickler), 81, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2011.
She was born on July 21, 1929, in Wittenberg to the late Harry and Ruth
Sickler (nee Walsh). She married Marvin Reissmann on June 25, 1949, in
Wittenberg. Together they owned and operated Reissmann Electric for more
than 20 years. She started working at St. Vincent DePaul in 2000 and
worked there until January of this year. She was a founding member of the
Citizen Advocacy of Washington County, where she was a devoted volunteer
for many years, along with several other organizations.
Bev was an excellent cook and loved traveling from Kenya safaris to the
glaciers in Alaska. She was also an avid reader.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Deborah "Dolly" (Greg
Fischer) Reissmann; and sister, Ramona Bricco; nieces, nephews, other
relatives and many dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Marv; siblings, Thomas Hubert,
Wayne Sickler, and Gilda Deruchowski.
The funeral service for Beverly will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at
noon at Trinity Lutheran Church, 140 N. Seventh Ave., West Bend, with
Pastor David Schoob officiating. The visitation will be held on Thursday,
July 14, from 10 a.m. until the time of service (noon), also at the
church. Private interment will take place at Washington County Memorial
Park.
Memorials would be appreciated to Trinity Lutheran Church and Citizen
Advocacy of Washington County, 120 N. Main St., West Bend.
The family would like to extend a thank you to Bev’s special, supportive
friends Richard Hill, Ann Taylor, Janine Bina and the ICU nurses of St.
Joseph’s Hospital for their compassionate care.
