James Franklin Fuller, 91, went to his eternal home on Friday, May 27, 2011.
James was born April 14, 1920, to Chester and Anna (nee Pump) in Milwaukee.
James married his lovely wife Virginia (nee Ferrara) on June 26, 1943, at Giuilani Evangelical Church. He graduated from Marquette University with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering in 1944. He also served in the U.S. Army. James worked in Milwaukee at Pflugradt Co. until 1970. He later moved to Wausau where he was cofounder and president of Mid State Contracting until his retirement in 1977.
He was an avid fisherman, gardener, quipper and master repair technician. He also enjoyed playing horseshoes.
James is survived by his wife, Virginia; children, James (Nancy) Fuller, Stareen (Merton) Troeger, Cheryl Fuller, Alan (Terri) Fuller and Wayne (Sherri) Fuller; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Ed "Ace" Fuller; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 4, at noon at St. Paulís Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4113 German Village Road, West Bend. Visitation will be at the church only on Saturday, June 4, from 9 a.m. until time of service. The burial will follow the service at Pinelawn Cemetery, 10700 W. Capitol Dive, Milwaukee.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to St. Paulís Evangelical Lutheran Church for Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School.
