Neal Liebenstein, 70, a resident of Eagle River since 1975 and a former resident of Grafton, died on Thursday, May 26, 2011, at Eagle River Memorial Hospital in Eagle River.

Neal was born in Milwaukee on Oct. 16, 1940, to Gilbert and Marie Liebenstein. He was a member of the Michigan-Wisconsin Antique Power Association.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Marie Liebenstein of Eagle River; daughter, Carrie Jo (Koby) Scheel of Grafton; sons, Todd (Carol) Liebenstein of Eagle River and Craig (Lisa) Liebenstein of Cedarburg; brother, Lowell (Arlene) Liebenstein of Grafton; and grandchildren, Brennan, Kenton, Cameron, Nicholas and Jacob.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at the Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River. Visitation was held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
