Frank William Hosale

Frank William Hosale died June 8, 2011 in Nashville, Ky. after a long illness. Born Sept. 13, 1928 in Birmingham, Ala. and grew up in and around Nashville. He graduated from Hume-Fogg High School in 1947. In Milwaukee/Mequon, he established Hosale Construction Company. He was recognized as a civic activist, old-world craftsman, avid sustainable gardener and award-winning breeder of beagles. He attended Neely's Bend Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by father, Frank William Hosale; mother, Mary Peach Hosale Craighead Higgins; wife, Norma Ann Hosale; brothers, J. B. Hosale and Richard "Buster" Craighead; aunt and uncle, Nannie and Ivan Baker. Survived by wife, May Ruth Hale Perry Hosale; sons,

Michael (Cindy) and Kenneth (Jodi); grandsons, Charles and Zachary; sisters, Patsy Tayes, Emma Jean Harmon, Judy Stamphill and Nancy Mitchell; stepdaughters, Joy Rhea, Karen Perry and Sandra Perry; step- granddaughter, Stephanie Scott; four step-great-grandchildren, all of Nashville, Ky.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 17, at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Churches of Christ Disaster Fund, 410 Allied Drive, Nashville, TN 37211 or a charity of your cdhoice. Schramka-Densow Funeral Home, 423 N. Main St., Thiensville, is serving the family.
