Evelyn Rivera

   
Evelyn Rivera (nee Pablo) of West Bend, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2011, at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa.

She was born on July 11, 1938, in Manila, Philippines to the late Bernardo and Esperanza (nee Carbonell) Pablo. On June 27, 1993, Evelyn was united in marriage to Benjamin Rivera in West Covina, Calif.

Lola Evelyn loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking care of them. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, reading and working crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her husband, Benjamin Rivera of West Bend; two children, Hud (DezaRae) Rodriguez of West Bend and Barbara Rodriguez of Atlanta, Ga.; four grandchildren, Milla, Paolo, Rafael and Sebastien Rodriguez; one sister, Lina Cabigas of Atlanta, Ga.; two nieces, Bernadette and Rosanna Cabigas; one nephew, Rodolfo (Kathleen ) Cabigas; other relatives and friends.

A memorial Mass in remembrance of Evelyn will be held on Monday, June 20, at 11 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 1025 S. Seventh Ave., West Bend. Visitation will be Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass.

Memorials to St. Frances Cabrini School Library are appreciated by the family.
