Lucille Esther Manke (nee Kowalske), 77, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at Cedar Community.

She was born on April 8, 1934, to Norbert and Lilly (nee Exler) in Jackson. She was married to Joseph J. Manke Jr. Lucille was an avid volunteer worker. She loved to play cards and enjoyed her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving sister, Ruth Gierach; children, Judy (Clarence Rowe) Meier, Laurie (Michael) Foster, Jayne (Todd) Jarvey and Jeffrey (Bobbi Jo) Olchesky; grandchildren, Shannon Meier, Fredric Meier, Angela (Curt) Studzinski, Jillaine (Liam) Bell, Alana Meier, Daniel Schoening, Amanda Foster, Kristy Jarvey, Brian (Sarah) and Jeffrey Jr. (Charis) Olchesky and Megan (Jeff) Harding; and 11 great-grandchildren; special Aunt to Sue, Glen, Nancy and Kurt.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

The memorial service for Lucille will be held on Friday, June 24, at 6 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend, 1420 W Paradise Drive, with the Rev. Paul Peckman presiding. The visitation will be held on Friday, June 24, from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. A private interment will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Memorials would be appreciated to the family.
