Edward ‘Eddie’ Schneider, 80
Edward A. "Eddie" Schneider, 80, of West Bend, passed away
Monday, June 20, 2011, at the Aurora Medical Center in Hartford.
Edward was born on Sept. 29, 1930, in Milwaukee to the late Anthony
Schneider Sr. and Catherine (nee Przybylinski) Sailer. He served his
country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Edward was a
member of the Fred A. Schaefer VFW Post No. 1393 in West Bend.
He worked as a mill rite for Continental Can in Milwaukee and Sundance
Photo.
Edward is survived by two sisters, Delores (Paul) Ferri of Milwaukee and
Darlene Sailer of Milwaukee; one brother, Michael Sailer of Milwaukee;
dear friends, Gary Moore, Tom and Raquel Sinnen, Brian Schmitz, Kym and
Mark Harmelink, Millie Fitz and Brian Couwels; nieces, nephews and many,
many dear friends from Pick ’n Save, Silver Lake Country Inn and Round
the Clock Restaurant.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Anthony Schneider Jr.
A gathering to celebrate Eddie’s life and to share stories and memories
will be held Sunday, June 26, from noon to 3 p.m. at Silver Lake Country
Inn. Inurnment will be in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in
Union Grove.
