Marvin L. Fenner, 83

Funeral services will be held today, June 28, 2011, at 3 p.m. at Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory, W63 N527 Hanover Ave., Cedarburg, for Marvin L. Fenner of Mercer, formerly of Cedarburg who joined his wife, Ruth, on Thursday June 23, 2011. He was 83 years old.

Visitation is today at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at Zur Ruhe Cemetery. Marvinís family would like to send their appreciation to the Harbor House staff in Rib Mountain for their loving and tender care. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association or the Salvation Army are appreciated.

Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family. Marvin was born in Milwaukee on Nov. 27, 1927, the son of William and Louise (nee Hunger) Fenner. Marvin was a 1946 graduate from Rufus King High School and he enlisted into the Army Air Corps right after high school. He married Ruth Marie Starwick on Aug. 23, 1952, and they were blessed with three children.

Marvin enjoyed all outdoor activities including hunting, fishing and camping. He also was a Boy Scout leader in Cedarburg for many years and part of the Rotary. Marvinís family was the most important part of his life, including his dog, Molly. Marvin is survived by his children, Pat (Dave) Langton and Cathy Fenner; daughter-in-law, Becky Fenner; grandchildren, Staff Sgt. Adam Fenner, Evan (Kristen) Fenner, Ethan (Jade) Fenner, Ben Langton and Tim Langton; great-grandchildren, Kiley and Achlynn Fenner; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth; and his son, Tom Fenner.
