Marie Mable Winget


Marie Mable Winget passed away on March 9, 2011.

Marie Mable Winget was born on June 7, 1924, to Willard and Hilda (nee Schrader) Rau in Dorchester. She was their only child. She spent most of her childhood in southeastern Wisconsin and on Oct. 17, 1940, married Robert Winget. Their marriage produced eight children, the late Robert Winget Jr., James (Carol) Winget of West Bend, William Winget of Germantown, Donna (Jim) Reetz of West Bend, the late Dianne (George) Stevenin of Thayer, Kan., Betty (Orville) Kurth Oconomowoc, George (Janice) Winget Union Grove, and Darlene (Michael) of Seacrest Beach, Fla. They lived all of their married life in Mayfield.

In 1985 she made her residence with her daughter Darlene and her family in Atlanta, Ga., and then Seacrest Beach, Fla., and helped them raise their children.

In addition to her six children and one brother-in-law, Chance Huldane, she is further survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband, Robert Sr.; her son, Robert Jr.; her daughter Dianne; her parents; daughter-in-laws, Sandy, Sandra and Kayla; and two grandchildren.

Internment of the cremains and a memorial service will be held at a later date in Wisconsin.
