James A. Cunningham III, 50, of Allenton, passed
away Friday, March 11, 2011.
Jim was born on Nov. 20, 1960, to Alton and Nancy
(nee Hilsenhoff) Cunningham Jr. in Madison. Jim was raised in Slinger and
attended Slinger High School. He began his career in auto mechanic repair
at Matenaer Service and later at Jake’s Auto Repair. He married Linda
Wagner on Oct. 5, 1979, in West Bend. Jim loved riding his Harley, driving
his 1964 Ford Falcon, restoring his and Tina’s farm house, going to
tractor shows and overall just working on things. One of his favorite
movies to watch was "The Goonies."
Jim is survived by his wife, Tina
"Linda"; and son, Michael. He is further survived by his
parents, Alton and Nancy; sister, Ann (special friend, Mark Malchow) of
Slinger; brothers, Sean (Yvonne) of Slinger and Kyle of Lannon,
brother-in-law, Charlie Wagner of West Bend and Lee (Ann) Wagner of West
Bend; sister-in-law, JoAnn (special friend, Danni Wallace) Wagner;
brother-in-law, Allen (Cindy) Wagner of Texas; godfather, Richard
Hilsenhoff; godmother, Mary Josephson of Madison; his dog, Spirit, and the
late dog Molly; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, mother and
father-in-law Eugene and Annella Wagner.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. on Tuesday,
March 15, at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel of West Bend with the Rev.
Cheryl Matusiak presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home on
Tuesday, March 15, from 4 p.m. until time of service (7 p.m.).
