Clint M. Griswold
Clint
M. Griswold, 19, of West Bend, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 14,
2011, at his residence.
He was born May 24, 1991, in Milwaukee to Timothy and
Renee (nee Spaulding) Griswold.
Clint attended West Bend schools and graduated from West
Bend East High School with the class of 2009. His real passion in life was
spending time in the outdoor classroom of the northwoods where he excelled
in hunting and fishing. By the age of 3 he had already caught bigger fish
than most grown men. His dream was to become a guide on the Chippewa
Flowage in Hayward.
He also loved to wrestle and wrestled with the West Bend
Wildcats, eventually lettering in the sport at West Bend East. He worked
hard and played passionately in every sport he participated in, which
always made him especially fun to watch.
Clint could warm a room with his smile, wore his heart
for all to see and was deeply loved by so many. This love for him will be
carried on forever in the hearts of his parents, Tim and Renee of West
Bend; his sisters, Jessica Griswold of Oshkosh and Jennifer Griswold of
Canada; his grandparents, Laverne "Popeye" and Mavis Siewert of
Readfield, and Claudia and the late Dick Spaulding of Milwaukee. Also
carrying on this love will be his aunts and uncles, Debbie Griswold of
Germantown, Jim Griswold of Milwaukee, Terry Griswold of New London, Rick
(Monica) Spaulding of Waukesha, Robb (fiancée, Karen Novy) Spaulding of
Cleveland, Randy (Amy) Spaulding of West Bend, Ron (Clare) Spaulding of
Sheboygan and Rodney (Susan) Spaulding of Wauwatosa. Clint reveled most in
the love he will forever receive from his many cousins, Erin McLaughlin,
Chad McLaughlin, Rick (fiancée, Sara) Spaulding, T.J. Spaulding, Savanna
Spaulding, Joe Spaulding, Melissa Spaulding, Curtis (fiancée, Abby)
Spaulding, Andrew (Laura) Spaulding, Glenn (Jamie Martin) Spaulding, Sarah
Spaulding, Elizabeth Spaulding, Amanda (Jason) Baltz, Cassie (Joe) Erato,
Katie (Matt) Wessel, Claire Spaulding, Randy Spaulding, Jack Spaulding,
Allie Spaulding, Callahan Spaulding, Lauren Spaulding, Evan Spaulding and
Jacob Spaulding. Clint will be deeply missed by his best friends, Ranger
and Ace.

Schmidt Funeral Home in West Bend from 4 p.m. until a prayer vigil at 7
p.m. Visitation and a Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, March 21,
beginning at 9 a.m. with Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic
