Rosemary Heppner, 77, of Hartford, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2011, at Kathy Hospice in West Bend.
She was born July 9, 1933, in Milwaukee, to John and Effie (nee Steward) Mullins. Rosemary was united in marriage to Raymond Heppner on Jan. 23, 1954, at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford.
Rosemary was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sheepshead, reading and crocheting. She was especially proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved them and was so proud of them that she would always carry photos of them so she could show these photos to her friends. Their pictures are also on many of the walls of her house.
Rosemary is survived by her children, Richard (Roxanne) Heppner of Campbellsport, Cindy Wienke of Waupun and John Heppner of Muncie, Ind.; seven grandchildren, Jeni (Mike), Christopher, Jeanna (Nick), Megan, Eric (Katie), Sarah (Aaron), Ashley (friend, Graham), eight great-grandchildren and two soon to be born great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Leanna, Brooklyn, Kaleb, Easton, Liliana, Angelena and Jaelle; and her sister, Sharon (Vernon) Cheeseman of Fond du Lac. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond; an infant son, Robert; and her best friends of 50 years, Viola and George Lang.
Funeral services for Rosemary will be held Wednesday, March 23, at 5:30 p.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home, 824 Union St., Hartford. Family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the time of 5:30 p.m. service. Interment Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
