Jon Timm Hetzel
Jon Timm Hetzel left our world for a better place
on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at the Northwest Medical Center in Tucson,
Ariz.
He was born to John and LaVerne (nee Timm) Hetzel
on Jan. 5, 1951.
Jon is dearly missed by his daughter, Mackensey of
Sahuarita, Ariz., and his brand new granddaughter, Averi. He also leaves
his loving sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Dave Dondlinger of West
Bend. He is survived by nieces and nephews who loved him and will miss
him, Tim (Mary) Dondlinger, Jane (Dave) Baumgartner, Kristin (Mike) Kohn,
Steve (Stephanie) Mayer, Andrew (Heather Kos) Dondlinger and Kara (Todd)
Guise; as well as great-neices and great-nephews; other relatives and
friends, especially Chuck Birbeck.
Jon was preceded in death by his parents and his
sister, Patricia Mayer.
Jon was a member of the U.S. Air Force, attended
the University of Wisconsin-Washington County, South Dakota University of
Mines and Technology and just retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Jon
enjoyed delivering mail to everyone on his routes and cared about all of
them.
A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, April 3,
at 2 p.m. at the covered area by the pool in Jon’s neighborhood, Casa de Abrego. Bring a chair if you so desire.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Jon’s family
would be greatly appreciated.
Jon will be missed by all who knew him. He was
looking forward to enjoying his retirement with his many friends and
family members. Jon asked us to remember, "Keep a smile on you face
and always say hello to your neighbor."
