Marguerite F. Pedersen, 91

Marguerite F. Pedersen (nee Kroening), 91, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 201.

Marguerite was born on Feb. 16, 1920, in Milwaukee to Harry and Esther (nee Wachs) Kroening. She was a 1938 graduate of Lutheran High School in Milwaukee. She married Lester R. Pedersen on May 20, 1945, in Milwaukee. She worked many years as a church secretary for both Immanuel Lutheran Church and Capitol Drive Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Choir and the Cedar Ridge Choristers.

Marguerite is survived by her children, John (Charlene) Pedersen, Thomas Pedersen and Harriet Pedersen; grandchildren, Steven (Colleen) Pedersen, Kristin (David) Maas, Shelly Lustig, Sarah Pedersen, Lyndsey (Nathan) Easom, Rachel Pedersen and Michael Pedersen; and 12 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her brother, Edmund Kroening, and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.

Marguerite is preceded in death by her husband, Lester; parents, Harry and Esther; in-laws, Harald and Caroline Pedersen; brothers, Carl (Ruth) Kroening and Harry (Dorothy) Kroening; sister-in-law Terry Kroening; and many other Pedersen brothers and sisters-in-law.

A funeral service for Marguerite will be at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, at Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, 777 S. Indiana Ave., West Bend, with the Rev. Robert Hein and the Rev. Richard Lauersdorf presiding. Visitation will be at the church only on Wednesday, May 4, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery in Milwaukee. A memorial service will also be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 5327 W. Washington Blvd., Milwaukee, with gathering time beginning at 4 p.m.
