Olga B. Neth, 100, of the town of Jackson died Saturday, May 21, 2011, at her residence.
She was born April 16, 1911, in St. Louis, Mo., to the late Peter and Elizabeth (nee Elias) Bohn and married John Neth on Nov. 24, 1933, in Milwaukee. John preceded her in death on Jan. 26, 1995.
Olga and John lived in Thiensville for many years before moving to Jackson. They operated the Silver Spring Paint and Wallpaper Studio in Glendale for nearly 50 years.
She enjoyed traveling with John all over the world and spent many winters in Scottsdale, Ariz. Olga loved to golf and was a member of the Ville du Parc Country Club where she played on the ladies golf teams. She also enjoyed writing letters and late in life became computer savvy. Olga spent many beautiful days tending to her garden.
She is survived by her three daughters, Marylin Redfern of Phoenix, Ariz., Nancy Harris of Jackson and Barbara (Darrell) Ruf of Jackson; and 10 grandchildren, Toni, Valerie, Victoria, Allyson, Scott, Todd, John, Joe, Matt and Chris. Olga is further survived by her 11 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Olga was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Elizabeth Bohn; her husband, John Neth; two sisters, Gladys Bohn and Viola Bohn; her brother, Peter Bohn; and a son-in-law, Leonard Harris.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 25, at 1 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Jeffrey Haines officiating. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee. Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.
