Tom Land of Grafton passed away on May 26, 2011. Tom was a devoted husband to Glenda and proud father to daughter Melanie. He is survived by a brother, Wayne Land of Houston, Mo.; and sisters, Vicki (Richard) Thomas of Smithville, Mo., and Debbie (John) Shook of Houston, Mo. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas E. Land; step-mother, Dottie Land; and mother, Hazel Land.
Tom loved his chosen profession of radio broadcasting, first working at small-town radio stations as a teenager. His career took him to Kansas City, Mo., Wichita, Kan., New Orleans, La., Omaha, Neb., and finally Milwaukee. For the past 11 years, he worked for Journal Broadcast Group and in December was named vice president of radio programming.

There will be an opportunity to pay your respects to Tom today, May 31, from 2 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. at Community United Methodist Church, W68 N563 in Cedarburg. Family will not be present.
A service of the celebration of Tomís life will be held at 4 p.m.
today. Family will receive friends at the reception after the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Community United Methodist Church benevolence fund will be appreciated.
