Mrs.
Pearl Lemke, of Highway O in the town of Saukville, 89, passed away
Tuesday evening, Nov. 8, 2011, at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton.
Pearl was born in the town of Saukville on Oct. 13, 1922, daughter of
Ewald and Margaret Stageman Fischer. After her schooling, Pearl was united
in marriage with Paul Lemke on April 3, 1948 at Trinity Lutheran Church in
the town of Jackson. The couple settled in the town of Saukville and
raised their family.
Mrs. Lemke was a member of Our Savior Ev. Lutheran Church in Grafton. She
was a fond attendee of local rummage sales and enjoyed gardening, baking
and horses. Pearl loved children and pets, and was also known for her
famous Schaum Torte. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years,
Paul Lemke of the town of Saukville, and their three sons: Paul (Diane)
Lemke of Kewaskum, John (Priscilla) Lemke of the town of Saukville
and Mark (Mary) Lemke, also of the town of Saukville. She is further
survived by eight grandchildren, five step grandchildren, 13 great - grandchildren, sister-in-law June (Willard) Rosenthal of West
Bend, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Violet (the late
William) Laubenstein and Caroline (the late Monroe) Laubenstein and
brother-in-law Louis Lemke.
Funeral services for Pearl will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12
at Our Savior Ev. Lutheran Church, 1332 Arrowhead Road, Grafton. Pastor
Mark Wagner will officiate. She will be laid to rest at Union Cemetery,
Waubeka. The family will receive visitors on Saturday from 2:30 to 4:30
p.m. at the church.
