Rosabel Schwanz, 81 Funeral services for Rosabel L. Schwanz, 81, of Mequon, who went to Her Heavenly Home on Nov. 9, 2011, at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls, were held on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 11450 N. Wauwatosa Road, Mequon. Visitation was held at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment was in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church West Mequon appreciated. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.muellerfuneralhome.com. Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family. Rosabel was born in Mequon on Sept. 19, 1930, the daughter of the late Erich C. and Marie (nee Schmeling) Schwanz. Rosabel was employed by Hansen Glove and then retired from Taylor Electric Company after 25 years of service. Rosabel was an avid bowler and participated in more than 35 WIBC Championship Tournaments. Rosabel was a past officer of the 600 Club, inducted into the Ozaukee County Women’s Bowling Association Hall of Fame in 1986 and won numerous other awards for her bowling accomplishments. Rosabel is survived by her brothers: Erich H. (the late June) Schwanz of Saukville, Gerald W. Schwanz of Mequon and Armin F. (Mary) of Port Washington; nieces and nephews: Janet (Michael) Beder of Wild Rose, JoAnne (David) Berth of Green Bay, Jerold (Cindy) Schwanz of Nielsville, Jay (Jody) Schwanz of Saukville, Douglas (Jacklyn) Schwanz of Port Washington, Kathleen (Robert) Bentley of Port Washington, Susan (Robert) Stoecker of Port Washington and Glen (Kari) Beder of Newburg. Rosabel is further survived by great and great-great nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. |
