Mary Margaret Sitzberger (nee Kelly)

Mary Margaret Sitzberger (nee Kelly) passed away on Friday, Nov. 18,
2011 at the age of 87 years.

Mary was born on Sept. 19, 1924 to Mr. and Mrs. Murphy. She was born
and raised in Peru, Ill. She later married Michael Sitzberger on May 7,
1949 and they began their family in Peru as well.

Mary retired after 23 years of dedicated service to the West Bend
Company. She also volunteered over 5,600 hours at St. Joseph’s
Hospital in West Bend and was a greeter at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic
Church. Mary loved spending quality time with her family. Her life
was devoted to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and

Mary is survived by her children Kathy (Ron) Dickerson, Helen (Wayne)
Lunde, Michael (Barb) Sitzberger, Bill (Heidi) Sitzberger, and Rita
(Dave) Taggart; son-in-law Lee Eichstedt; grandchildren Gary (Cindi)
Dickerson, Steven Dickerson, Rosalee Eichstedt, Michelle (Chris) Rick,
Melissa (Mike) Schmidt, Brian (Lisa) Lunde, Stacy (Erik) Hanson, Amy
Sitzberger, Mike (Laura) Sitzberger, Megan Sitzberger, Brandon
Sitzberger, Karla (Mikey) Cramer, David (Sarah) Taggart, and Alexa
(Jacob) Ickes. She is further survived by her great-grandchildren
Selina (Edwin) Gonzalez, Sophia Dickerson, Isabella Rick, Brady
Schmidt, Kaleigh Schmidt, Olivia Lunde, Sophia Lunde, Brett Hanson,
Courtney Hanson, Page Sitzberger, Michael Sitzberger, Conner
Sitzberger, Bella Sitzberger, Skyler Sitzberger, Rainah Sitzberger,
Mason Sitzberger, Naveah Cramer, Brady Cramer, and Haven Cramer; and
one great-great-granddaughter Jazzlynn Gonzalez.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Michael Sitzberger, daughter
Rose Eichstedt, birth parents Mr. and Mrs. Murphy, adopted parents Mr.
and Mrs. Kelly, and Rose Hanley by whom she was raised.

A funeral service for Mary will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23,
2011 at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West
Bend, with Fr. Nathan Reesman presiding. Visitation will be at the
FUNERAL HOME ONLY from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011. Interment will follow at Washington County Memorial Park.

The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the staff at
Samaritan Health Care Center and Cedar Lake Hospice for their care and
compassion for Mary.
