Roger E. Gollnick, 70 Roger E. Gollnick, 70, of Plymouth, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. He was born on July 7, 1941, in Hamilton, the son of Albert and Lillie (Ladwig) Gollnick. Roger was confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg, and graduated from Cedarburg High School. On Feb. 1, 1964, he married Christa Jozefowski at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg. He worked various jobs in Cedarburg and in 1975, he and his wife purchased Scenic Moraine Poultry Farm, retiring in 2009. Over the years, Roger always took great pride in the quality of eggs produced, and servicing his customers. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. He is survived by his wife, Christa of Plymouth; three children, Geri (Les) Erickson of Plymouth, Fawn (Todd) Starnitcky of Cascade and William (Mindi) Gollnick of Little Chute; seven grandchildren, Justin Erickson, Adam and Claire Starnitcky, Grace, Matthew, Samuel and Nathaniel Gollnick; a brother, James (Ruth) Gollnick of Cedarburg; brothers-in-law, Bruno (Mary) Jozefowski of Princeton and Richard Hollendbach of Florida; and a sister-in-law, Wanda (Tony) Smith of Virginia Beach, Va. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws; a grandson, Cory Bauer; a sister-in-law, Rosie Hollenbach; and a brother-in-law, Bob Girard. A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011, at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth with the Rev. Nathan Meador, officiating. Friends may call at the church on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Schneider Funeral Home & Life Tributes in Plymouth is assisting the family with arrangements.
