Alison Cler Foerster (nee Schmeling), 35,
passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011.
Al was born on Sept. 29, 1976, in Milwaukee to Tom and Chris (nee Cler)
Schmeling. She married Corey Foerster on March 22, 1997 at Pilgrim
Evangelical Lutheran Church in West Bend. Al was a devoted wife, mother,
daughter, granddaughter, sister, and school teacher. She will be dearly
missed by all those that knew and loved her.
Al is survived by her husband Corey; and children Elizabeth and Hannah.
She is further survived by her parents Tom and Chris Schmeling; sisters
Christy (Tony) Winkler and Stephanie (Michael) Miszewski; in-laws Juergen
and Mary Foerster; grandmother Connie Schmeling; grandfather Albert
Foerster; brother-inlaw Benjamin (Tammy) Foerster; nephew Charlie Foerster;
niece Sophia Foerster; aunts and uncles Jerilyn Schmeling, Michael (Missy)
Schmeling, Deborah (Frank) Nobile, and Judith Lobes; and many other
relatives, and dear friends. Al is preceded in death by her grandparents
Lee and Joyce Cler, Jerome Schmeling, Joseph and Mary Ann Kosterman, and
Sophie Foerster; aunt Donna Bakiras; and uncles Tom Kroeger, Keith Lobes,
and Andy Bakiras.
A funeral service for Alison will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011,
at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, in West Bend
with Pastor Joseph Fisher presiding. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until
1:45 p.m. at the funeral home only on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011. In lieu of
flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.
The family wishes to extend a special "Thank You" to the
doctors, nurses, and staff on the 12th floor at Aurora St. Luke’s
Medical Center. You’re the best, and you know it!
