Phyllis Ann Zarda, 66
Phyllis Ann Zarda (nee Kunde) passed away
unexpectedly at her home in Everett, Wash., on Oct. 2, 2011. She was
66.
She was born on Feb. 8, 1945. A longtime resident of Washington
County, Phyllis graduated from Custer High School in 1963. She was a
long-time secretary at Global Union. Her love of all animals brought her
to volunteer at the Milwaukee County Zoo Pride for many years. In her
spare time, she enjoyed writing poems and she loved to cook and bake. She
also loved to travel.
Phyllis was a thoughtful person and always said her door was open to
anyone.
The past five years she spent in Everett, Wash. with her life-long
friend, Myron Hansen.
Phyllis is survived by her oldest son Robert Jr. (Dana) and her youngest
son Eric (Jennifer), and three granddaughters, Jessica (fiancé Rob) Borns,
Marissa and Courtney Zarda.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Mary Kunde.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
There will be memorial service in remembrance of Phyllis on Monday, Oct.
17, 2011, at Cedar Spring Church, 3128 Slinger Road, Slinger. Pastor John
C. Bass will officiate at the service. A gathering will be Monday at the
church from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. with the service at 7 p.m.
