Caroline J. Tennies, 65
Caroline
J. Tennies (nee Krawczyk), 65, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 22,
2011.
Caroline was born on May 17, 1946 in Ironwood,
Mich. to Michael and Berlla (nee Kasieta) Krawczyk. She married James
Tennies on Aug. 6, 1966 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Ironwood,
Mich.
Caroline was a devoted wife, mother and
grandmother.
During the summer you would expect to see her at her son’s
Rock River games, and took advantage of every opportunity to attend
sporting events for her children and grandchildren.
In the spring, she looked forward to planting and
tending to her flower beds and never missed a chance to spend time with
her friends. Caroline will be dearly missed by all those that knew and
loved her.
Caroline is survived by her husband Jim; children
Tina (Michael) Watermolen, Tim (Tammy) Tennies, Terrilynn Tennies, and
Kevin Tennies; and grandchildren Kyle and Dylan Bersch, Abby, Alyssa,
Spencer, and Brock Tennies; and Ava Caroline Tennies. She is further
survived by her sisters-in-law Carol (Daniel) Goetz, Joan Pauley, and
Jean (Daniel) Frey; brothers-inlaw John (Marge) Tennies, Sr., David (Lynn)
Tennies, Laurence (Kathleen) Tennies, and Mark (Joetta) Tennies; and
many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends. Caroline is preceded in
death by her parents Michael Krawczyk and Berlla Rundell, in-laws Lawrence
and Anna Tennies, and nephews Robbie Goetz and Joey Tennies.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Caroline will be at
1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 200
E. Washington St. in Slinger with Fr. Richard Stoffel presiding.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 12:45 p.m.
at the church ONLY on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011. Burial services will
follow at New St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery.
