Marion J. Stoffel (nee Aebli), 83, of West Bend, found eternal peace on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011. 

She was born and raised in Milwaukee and was a graduate of Washington High School. She attended Milwaukee Business Institute and held several secretarial positions until she married Robert Stoffel on Sept. 9, 1950, at St. Catherine Church in Milwaukee. They started a family and she became involved in church, Cub Scouts and activities for her son. She volunteered at the parish school library at the former Mother of Perpetual Help, where she also sang in the choir. After moving to West Bend, she sang in the Resurrection Choir at St. Frances Cabrini Church. She also sang in the Swinging Seniors of West Bend. 

She is survived by her husband, Robert; son, Richard of Slinger; sistersin-law, Lorraine Aebli of San Antonio and LaVerne (William) Horst of Rubicon; brothers-in-law, Mathias (Teresa) Stoffel of West Bend, Ralph (Donna) Stoffel of Cedarburg, and Roman (Shirley) Stoffel of West Bend. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, August and Anna (nee Zweifelhoffer) Aebli; sisters, Wilmette (Eugene) Weidman, and Kay (Anthony) Monfrey; brothers, Warren "Pat" Aebli, Vernon (Louise) Aebli; nieces, Jean Aebli and Cheryl Stoffel; and nephew, Patrick Aebli. 

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, at 12:30 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church (1025 S. 7th Ave., West Bend) with Fr. Richard Stoffel and Fr. Nathan Reesman presiding. Archbishop Jerome E. Listecki will offer final commendation. The visitation will be held at church on Friday, Oct. 28, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 12:30 p.m. Entombment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 12:30 p.m. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Gary Herdrich, the hospice nurses at Cedar Community, and the staff of West Bend Health Care Center for their care for their wife and mother over the past months.
