Marianne Ruth Nuelk, 83

Marianne Ruth Nuelk, 83, passed away on Friday, Sept. 2, 2011 at Cedar Community.

She was born in Milwaukee on Nov. 15, 1927, to the late Armin and Hilda (nee Walch). She was a graduate of Girls Trade & Technical School in Milwaukee.

Marianne was an artisan in her profession as a French weaver, specializing in fabric reweaving. After working for many years in Milwaukee, she brought her skill to the West Bend area for the former Haebig Cleaners, The Clothes Clinic and One Hour Martenizing.

Marianne is survived by her sister Carol Luckow; nieces Kathleen (William) Pabst, Louise Kinney, Annette Hooper; nephew Wayne Gilbert; great nieces and nephews Phillip (Kristine) Fritz, Tim Kinney, Tracy (Harold) Pavlekovich, Erin Moss, Jeff Jacobs, Donna Hooper; cousins Shirley Pankratz, Andrea and Paul Cornuelle and sons. She is further survived by her friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister June; brother-in-law Gerald Luckow; nephew Gary, and longtime best friend Charlotte Brueckner.

A funeral service for Marianne will be held on Wednesday, Sep. 7, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend with Deacon Ron Schneider presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011 until time of service (1 p.m.).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Cedar Community, 5595 Highway Z, West Bend, WI 53095. A private interment will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
