Noel P. Cartwright, 65 A memorial service for Noel Patrice Cartwright was celebrated on   Sept. 11, 2011, at the Grafton Rose-Harms Legion Post.  The   celebration included dinner, dancing and karaoke (some of Noel’s   favorite things). Noel had a smile on her face as she went to the Lord on May 23, 2011,   the night following a wonderful celebration of her life. Noel was the   beloved mother of Frank (Lisa) Cartwright, Leah (Pete) Petersen,   Melissa (Tim) Arifin and Kristin (Ryan) Roddy. She will be greatly   missed by her grandchildren, Mia, Aidan and Talan Roddy, Kailey and   Keira Petersen and step-grandson, Zach Petersen. Also among the   family mourners are Noel’s nieces and nephews. Noel was the caring   daughter of Mary Stoke (nee Daas), sister of Vicki (Donald) Massie   and sister-in-law of Sharon (Ray) Mielke. Noel is further survived by   many close relatives, family and friends. Noel was preceded in death by an infant son, Charles Francis; her   husband, Francis Charles Cartwright; and her father, Gregory   Holzbauer (also known as Bob Gregory). Noel was born Dec. 16, 1946, in Milwaukee. to Mary (nee Daas) and   Gregory Holzbauer. She was united in marriage to Francis C.   Cartwright on Nov. 25, 1965. She worked at Grafton State (now Harris)   Bank as the facilities manager until she retired to care for her   husband. She was a volunteer with the Girl Scouts, Los Ojos de Dios   Orphanage at Juarez, Mexico, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.   Together, Noel and Francis raised some $40,000 for MDA research. The family wishes to thank the Elizabeth Residence and staff in   Bayside and Hospice Advantage for their compassionate care of Noel.
