Virginia M. Arnold (nee Gossett), age 86, of West Bend, died Sunday, April 1, 2012, at the Kathy Hospice. She was born May 27, 1925, in Indiana, to the late William and Pearl (nee Fredricks) Gossett and married Dale J. Arnold on Sept. 2, 1946, in Ripon. Dale preceded her in death on December 20, 1996.

Virginia worked at City Bakery and Amity Leather before working for many years at Sears in West Bend. She enjoyed going dancing every Sunday afternoon and liked to go to hamburger night at the VFW.

Virginia is survived by her three children: Brad (Mary Kennedy) of Garden, Mich., Dave (Shirley) of West Bend and Barb Arnold of West Bend; two grandchildren: Jennifer (Blake) Elliott and William (Jessica) Arnold, one great-grandchild, Harper Lynn Elliott, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Pearl Gossett, and her husband, Dale Arnold.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 4, 201,2 at 5:30 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home in West Bend with the Rev. Nathan Reesman officiating. Burial will be Thursday in Westfield East Cemetery in Westfield. Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 4-5:15 p.m.
