Edward F. Klumpyan, 84
Edward
F. Klumpyan, 84, of the town of Wayne died Monday, April 2, 2012 at
Froedtert Health St. Joseph’s Hospital in the town of Polk.
He was born March 1, 1928 in Lomira to the late Frank and Erna (nee
Klifford) Klumpyan and married Anna M. Breuer on Aug. 23, 1958 at St.
Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony.
Ed worked at the West Bend Company for over 42 years and was a member of
the 25 Year Club. He also farmed for 33 years. Ed loved to hunt and fish
and enjoyed snowmobiling, woodworking visiting the casinos, and going on
mystery trips. He and Anna would often travel to their cottage on Post
Lake and enjoyed spending time there with their nieces and nephews and
their families.
He was a member of the Kohlsville Fire Department and the Kohlsville
Kruisers Snowmobile Club.
Ed is survived by his wife of 53 years, Anna, his sister Marlene (Norman)
Hakala of Mt. Calvary, his brother Bernard of Milwaukee, his
brother-in-law Herbert (Carol) Breuer and his sister-inlaw Edna Steger. He
is also survived by his special nieces and nephews: Todd (Lori) Steger of
Kohlsville, Dave (Julie) Steger of Kohlsville and Debbie (Bill) Bingen of
Allenton, nieces and nephews: Lynn (Karl) Thornton, Brian (Margaret)
Breuer, Brad Breuer, Brant (Sarah) Breuer and Mark (Sue) Steger, and
special greatnieces and great-nephews: Kelly and Scott Steger, Bryan
Pauers, Jonathan and Dillan Steger and Blake, Brooklyn and Broc Bingen. He
is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Edward is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Erna Klumpyan, two
brothers Marvin and Melvin Klumpyan, his sister Estelle Giese, three
brothers-in-law: Herbert Yogerst, Ralph Giese and John Steger, his
sister-in-law Helen Klumpyan, and two nephews David Klumpyan and Michael
Steger in infancy.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 6 p.m.
at Resurrection Catholic Church in Allenton with Rev. Richard Stoffel
presiding. Burial will be Thursday in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation
will be Wednesday, at the church only from 3-5:45 p.m.
