Frank P. Buchholz, 93|
Frank P. Buchholz of Grafton passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg.
Frank was born in Grafton on March 27, 1919, to Nicholas and Barbara (nee Oberst) Buchholz and married Clarice (nee Schmidt) on Oct. 18, 1947, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lake Church.
Frank was a lifelong active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grafton. He was a proud Army World War II veteran and was a past commander of the Belgium VFW Post 5373. He was a member of the Luxembourg American Cultural Society, lifelong member of the Ozaukee County Historical Society, he was the town of Grafton building inspector for 25 years and was also a member of the Golden Tones from the Grafton Senior Center.
He is survived by his wife, Clarice (nee Schmidt) of Grafton; children, Ken (Lucy) of Shorewood, Allen (Cheri) of Cedarburg, Barb (Gary) Frank of Cedarburg, Mary (Dennis) Jaeger of Cedarburg, Pete (Mari) of Newburg and Bill (Terri) of Grafton; grandchildren, John of Milwaukee, Paul (Adrianna) of Claremont, Calif., Bobbie (Ben) Recob of Cedarburg, Marcie (Donny) Long of Frisco, Texas, Brian Frank of Grafton, Wendy Frank of Wauwatosa, Mike Jaeger of Brown Deer, David Jaeger of Grafton, Ben of Newburg, Emily of Newburg, Renee of Grafton and Matt of Grafton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Joe, Clem, Leo and Ray; sisters, Leone, Theresa Tennies and Marie Augustin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, April 14, at 11:30 a.m.
at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1619 Washington St., Grafton.
Interment will be at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Memorials of your choice are appreciated.
