Carol Jean Clark, 66

Carol Jean “Snookie” Clark, 66, West Bend and formerly of Oneida, died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon, April 15, 2012.

The daughter of Marcus and Florence (Greatens) Clark was born Sept. 15, 1945, in Green Bay. She moved to West Bend in 1969 to work at the West Bend Company until her retirement. She loved knitting, crocheting, crafting, and took great pride in making picture albums for her nieces’ and nephews’ birthdays and weddings.

Carol is survived by four brothers and one sister; Robert (Darlene) Clark, Suring; Thomas (Jean “Punch”) Clark, Oneida; Sandra Van-Lieshout, Casco; Kenneth (Bonnie) Clark, Krakow; and Gordon (Ruth) Clark, Oneida; and two sisters-in-law, Catherine “Cricket” Clark, Alabama; and Kristine Clark, Pulaski. She is further survived by her godchildren, Steven VanLieshout, Patrick Clark and Kelly Marie Banaszynski; 26 nieces and nephews; and all of her good friends in West Bend.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, John and Bruce Clark; and a brother-in-law, Donald VanLieshout.

Friends may call at St. Joseph Church, 145 St. Joseph Drive, Oneida, from 9-11 a.m. Saturday. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at the church, Fr. John Katamba presiding and Deacon Everett Doxtator assisting. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.

The family would like to thank Ken and Bonnie and their family for taking care of Carol over the years when she would visit. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. Online condolences may be expressed at
