Louella
Engelking (nee Wimmer), 83, of West Bend, formerly of Milwaukee,
passed away on Friday, July 13, 2012, at River Way Place in West Bend.
Louella
was born Sept. 16, 1928, in Manitowoc to Michael and Elizabeth (nee
Kautzer) Wimmer. She was united in marriage to Carl A. Engelking on
Sept. 16, 1950, at St. Boniface in Manitowoc.
She
will be remembered for her love of gardening, reading, cheering on the
Packers and Brewers, playing sheepshead, her dear grand-dogs, and her
friends and extended family at River Way Place.
Louella
is survived by her loving daughters, Nancy (Kenneth) Jakubowski and
Susan Engelking, both of Slinger; beloved grandchildren David (Katie)
Daniel, Lauren (fiancé Matt Elder) Jakubowski and Carl J. Engelking;
and sister Violet McMahon; sister-in-law Marlene Bartels; and nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends.
She
was preceded in death by her parents, dear husband Carl Arthur
Engelking, son David Carl Engelking, sisters Margaret, Dorothy,
Millicent, Jean and Corrine, and brother Mark Wimmer.
Memorial
Services for Louella will be held Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at the
Shimon Funeral Home. Family will great relatives and friends at 10
a.m. and Chaplain David Nothem will officiate at the memorial service
at 11 a.m.
Private
inurnment at Arlington Cemetery, Milwaukee.
