Margaret Weasler, 90
 

Margaret Aleda (nee Budsberg) Weasler, 90, passed away on Aug. 2, 2012, at Samaritan Health Center, West Bend. 

Margaret was born May 21, 1922, in Iola, the fifth child of eight children of Albert and Myrtle (nee Jacobson) Budsberg. She finished high school in Iola and married Clarence B. Olson on July 3, 1940, and this marriage was blessed with four sons. She was a housewife and worked 16 years at Lasata Nursing Home. In later years, she received recognition for her poetry that was published. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Dean of West Bend; sister, Dorothy Honeck of Pewaukee; sons, Evon aka Vance Olson (Bonnie) of Iola; and Todd Olson (Kimberly) of Clearwater, Fla.; daughter in-law, Bonnie Jo McFarlin of Florida; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends too numerous to mention. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Delmar, Raymond, and Vernon; sisters, Bernice, Genevieve, and Doris; two former husbands, Clarence B. Olson and Jacob Oelhafen; sons, Larry J. Olson and Steven H. Olson; daughter-in-law, Eva (Viola) Olson; grandson, Scott E. Olson; and great-grandson, Scott E. Olson Jr. 

The memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, WI 53095). The visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Aug. 15 from 9 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 11 a.m. Her urn will be placed in a niche at Washington County Memorial Park.
