Vivian Bowman, nee Farrand, 77, of Kewaskum died on Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012 at the Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Port Washington. She was born on Nov. 19, 1934 in Elton to the late James and Vernie (nee Pennington) Farrand.
As a child, the family moved to Langlade, and later to White Lake. In 1972, she settled in Kewaskum.
For 23 years, she worked at the Health Care Center of Cedar Community, retiring in 1999.
Survivors include three children, Ronald (Susan) of Alvin, Verna of Belgium and Margaret of Merrill; her long-time friend and companion, Trygve Bergseth, formerly of Kewaskum; and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Robert (Gladys) Farrand, Shirley (Allen) Rickett, Marie (Roger) Maas and Paul Farrand.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Aug. 24 at 2 p.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home in West Bend with Pastor Glenn Butts officiating. Entombment will follow at Washington County Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 1-1:45 p.m.
