Kenneth R. Murray, 67, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012.
He was born in Mountain Ash, Ky., on Feb. 18, 1945, where he was also raised. He married Letha on Sept. 4, 1963 in Tennessee.

He worked at CCP in Saukville for many years. His favorite pastimes included fishing, traveling and playing the lottery. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing baseball and buying doughnuts for them on Saturday mornings.

He is survived by his loving wife, Letha (nee Way); children, Deborah (Jeffrey) Barnes of Chippewa Falls, Kenneth L. (Susan) Murray of West Bend, Tracy (Chad) Stater of Hartford; grandchildren, Natasha (Brian) Thompson, Kenneth (fiancée Nicole Troyer) Slayton, Brianna Barnes, Kevin (Jennifer) Murray, Karen (Davi) Alliet, Samuel and Alexander Champeny, and Jack Stater; five great-grandchildren and another on the way; sisters, Irene Strunk, Alieen Farley, Betty Heaton; brother, Eldon (Mary) Murray; sister-in-law, Sue (Gary) Holly; and brothers-in-law, Kenneth, Michael (Marlene), and Charles (Ruby) Way. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Hazel (nee Ball) Murray; and brothers, Junior and Lesley.

The funeral service for Ken will be on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012 at 3 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend). The visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday, Aug. 26 from 1-3 p.m. Interment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park on Monday, Aug. 27 at 11 a.m.
