Alfred Jack Ceshker, 95
 

Alfred Jack "Al" Ceshker, 95, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012, at his residence.

Al was born Jan. 23, 1917, to Benjamin and Emma Ceshker in Waukesha. He was united in marriage to Ruth Kohl on Nov. 9, 1973.

In his early years of life he lived in Waukesha and then settled in Rubicon where he farmed. Later in life, Al worked for Stoper Steel, drove school bus, and then owned and operated the Triangle Inn Dance Hall and Bar. Al enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, and loved the time spent with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered, especially for his saying "everything will be alright."

Al is survived by his wife of 38 years, Ruth; his children, Allen (Darlene) Ceshker, Dennis (Mary) Ceshker, Joyce Spinn, Rosemary (Larry) Gradl, Della (Casimir) Zarczynski, Dale (Deb) Degeler, and Dolores (Fred) Werth; daughter-in-law, C.C. (Alan) Achterberg; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brother, George Ceshker; and his sisters-inlaw, Laura Oswald and Bernice Kohl. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Gene Ceshker; daughters-in-law, Kathy Ceshker and Julie Degeler; sons-in-law, Fritz Spinn and John Odenwald; siblings, Frances Besso, Eleanor VerVoort and Arthur Ceshker; and granddaughter, Dana Zarczynski.

A memorial service for Al will be held Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at 7 p.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home, 824 Union St., Hartford, with the Rev. Mike Petrie officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday from 4 p.m. until the time of service.

Inurnment at Immaculate Conception in Juneau on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, at 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
