Kenneth Schultz, 91
Kenneth Schultz of Cedarburg and Thiensville passed away on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at the age of 91.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Caroline (nee Opsahl). His children are the late David (Sheri) Schultz of Theresa, Donald (Mary) Schultz of West Bend, Ellen (Rodney) Newlin of Rosendale and Gordon
(Christine) Schultz of Mequon. Ken is also survived by his brother, Gerald (Mary) Schultz of Fond du lac and 12 grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
A funeral service will be held at noon on Thursday, Dec. 13 at Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, 247 S. Main St., Thiensville.
Burial with military honors will take place at Zur Ruhe Cemetery on Friday, Dec. 14 at 10 a.m.
Ken was a former fire chief of the village of Thiensville Volunteer Fire Department and a department member for over 60 years. He also retired from the U.S. Postal Service, where he worked as a rural route mailman.
Ken was also a beloved and longtime employee of the Schramka-Densow Funeral Home.
Visitation will take place on Thursday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
