Frank J. Sable, 72, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at the age of 72 years.

Frank was born on April 20, 1940, to Norman and Gloria (nee Restivo) Sable. He married Judith Reuter on May 25, 1963. Frank was born and raised in Milwaukee and was a Pius High School graduate, class of 1957. He attended St. Norbert College for several years, and then he began his career as a customer service representative at Badger Meter for 27 years. Frank then went on to work at the Ziegler Co. for several years and finally at Weil Pump.

Frank enjoyed golfing, baseball, softball, swimming, bowling and watching NASCAR. He also coached Little League for over 10 years, and in later years, he also umpired games. Frank also had a passion doing service work.

Frank is survived by his wife Judy; children Troy of West Bend, twins Lori (fiancé Butch McCumber) Sable of Thiensville and Lisa Sable of Thiensville, Tammy (Chris) Koehler of West Bend, and Jean (Hoi) VanDong of Fall Creek; and grandchildren Caleb, Kylie, Sydney, and Hailey. He is further survived by his sister Nancy (Ed) Newhouse of Jackson, brother-in-law Joe (Bonnie) Reuter of Franklin, and sisters-in-law Janet (Jim) Dwyer of Menomonee Falls, Joan (Clem) Gottfacker of Belgium, Justine Reuter of Bay Side, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents Norman and Gloria Sable; and brother-in-law Jerry Reuter.

A funeral service for Frank will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012 at the Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Drive in West Bend, with the Rev. Paul Pfeffer presiding. Visitation will be from 4-6:45 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012 at the funeral home only.
