Hermanson, 92
Pearl M. Hermanson (nee Hartt), 92, of Hartford, passed away Wednesday,
Dec. 19, 2012 surrounded by her family at Mayville Nursing and
Rehabilitation Center in Mayville.
Pearl was born May 31, 1920 in the town of Calamus, Dodge County to John
and Clara (nee Bonner) Hartt. She was united in marriage to Terry
Hermanson on Aug. 21, 1941. He preceded her in death in September of 1956.
She married Clifton Hermanson on April 18, 1959. He preceded her in May of
1999.
Pearl was a member of St. Mary’s of the Hill Parish and then a member of
St. Olaf Church. She loved to read, sew and bake cookies. She was a loving
mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her children Gerald “Guy” (Joanne) Hermanson of
Hartford, Connie (John) Herbst of Neosho, Rita (Mark) Mueller of Auroville,
Sheila (Randy) Heimermann of Hartford; step-children Daniel (Marian)
Hermanson of Hartford, Phyllis Glandt of Oconomowoc, Judith Hermanson of
Wauwatosa, and Dorraine (Jeffrey) Hargreaves of Appleton; stepson- in-law
Jeffrey Voight; 26 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; her sister Ethel
Machkovch of Beaver Dam; half-sister Mary Ellen (Oliver) Jones of Fall
River; and half-brother-in-law William Bleich of Beaver Dam. She is
further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pearl was preceded in death by her husbands; two infants, Christine and
Dennis; two sons, Donald and Steven; her brother John Hartt Jr.;
half-sister Katherine Bleich; step-daughter Debra Voight; step-brother
John Eckel; and grandson Chad Miller.
Funeral services for Pearl will be held on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 at 4 p.m.
at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, W653 Roosevelt Road, Rubicon with the Rev.
Matt Lee officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends on
Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 from 1-4 p.m. at St. Olaf Lutheran Church. Interment
will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Madison.
