Richard “Dick” R. Winter, 70, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012. He was born on Dec. 26, 1941, to Ralph and Florence (nee Manthey). From 1978 to 1999, he was the proprietor of “Dick’s Tap” on Main Street in West Bend and from 1999 to the present he was the proprietor of “Dick’s Club 144” in the Town of Farmington. Dick was a man with a generous spirit and a decent nature. He was a friend to all, and those who knew him loved him.

He is survived by brothers Charles and Robert, close companion, Dorothy Downs and his nieces and nephew. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Helen.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church (1044 S. Silverbrook Drive, West Bend). The visitation will be at the church on Thursday, Dec. 27 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Interment will take place on Dec. 28, 2012, at noon at the Silver Lake Cemetery in Portage. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scouts of America.
