Laura Kathleen Paul, 24, died at her home on Dec. 19, 2012. She was the daughter of Michael Paul and Patricia Dempsey. She attended Mc-Lane Elementary, Badger Middle School, and graduated from West Bend West High School in 2006.

She loved to read and learn, watch movies, and especially liked to play board games. She truly wanted to be part of her family. Laura was elated to spend time with her niece and nephew. She also had a great heart for animals.

Laura is survived by her parents, Michael Paul and Patricia Dempsey; siblings, A.J. (Krista) Paul of Mukwonago, Rachel Marquez of Kewaskum, and Joseph Paul of Mequon; niece Aubriella Marquez, nephew Fischer Paul; Grandma “Roses” Paul, Uncle Al (Laurie) Paul, Uncle Perry Paul, Aunt Mary (Tom) Stodola, Uncle Tom (Diana) Paul, Aunt Joan Paul, Uncle Mike (Susan) Dempsey, Aunt Kathy (Glenn) Doman, Aunt Maureen (George) Jorgensen, Aunt Ann (Randy) Johnson, and Aunt Peggy Hagen; and cousins, and many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Terrence and Mary Dempsey, and her grandfather, Allen W. Paul, Sr.

The funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at the Phillip Funeral Home (1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend) with the Rev. Matt Hadley presiding. The visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 30, from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 5 p.m. Memorials appreciated to the family.
