Rosemarie B. Boyung, 70
Rosemarie
B. "Rosie" Boyung, 70, of West Bend died on Saturday, Jan. 28,
2012 at the Samaritan Health Center. She was born on July 13, 1941, in
West Bend to the late William and Lillian (nee Kimla) Wienke.
On Jan. 31, 1959, she was united in marriage to Edwin A. Boyung. The
couple made their home in West Bend, where they raised their family.
Over the years, Rosie, who was affectionately called "Troll" by
her friends and co-workers, worked at various area businesses. They
included Amity Leather Products, West Bend Company, Johnson School Bus
Company, West Bend Taxi, KFC and Pizza Hut as a delivery driver. She also
worked from her home as a consultant for Avon.
In addition to being a wife and mother, she also enjoyed playing bingo and
slot machines.
Survivors include her husband Ed; three children: Debra "Debbie"
Meta (nee Boyung) (special friends William "Bill" Kutz) of West
Bend, Edwin "Eddie" (fiancee Mary Beth Stoffel) of West Bend and
James (Ellen) of Silver Spring, Md.; three grandchildren Jennifer (fiancé
Jason Kempfer) Boyung, Timothy Boyung and Thomas "T.J." Metz;
three sisters-in-law: Jean Weichelt of Stratford, Doreen Miller of West
Bend and Bethana (Gerald) Peters of Hartford; other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son in infancy,
Jeffrey, and her parents-in-law Edna and Edwin Boyung.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 3:30 p.m. at St.
John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, West Bend. The family will greet
relatives and friends at the church only on Saturday from 1-3:15 p.m.
Burial of the cremated remains will be at a later date in Washington
County Memorial Park. Memorials are appreciated.
