Adeline C. Pies, 96


Adeline C. Pies, 96, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012 at Kathy’s Hospice of West Bend.

She was born on June 15, 1915 in Waterloo to the late William Weihert and Lena (nee Heimann). After her schooling, she married Frank on June 19, 1937. Adeline enjoyed caring for her family, loved watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cooking and baking, gardening, and doing crafts. She was always there for everyone!

She is survived by her children, William L. (Donna) of Slinger, Jean (Clifford) Eimon of West Bend, Ben (Kathy) of West Bend; daughter-in-law, Rose Mary Pies of Germantown; grandchildren, Teri (Scott) Gundrum of Slinger, Todd (Ruth) Wiedoff of Hartford, Tadd (Robin) Wiedoff of Neenah, Dan Pies of West Bend, Carla (Andy) Krenz of Jackson, and Denise (Tim) Rutley of Slinger; great-grandchildren, Mike, Brian, and Natalie Gundrum, Ryan (Katie), Emily, Erin, Alaina, Anya, Joshua, Zachary, and Jacob Wiedoff; Danny and Nick Pies, Victoria, Samantha, and Logan Krenz, Jamie Pies, Lindsay, Haley, and Alexee Rutley; great-great-grandchildren, Amaiya Shephard and Sienna Wiedoff; sisters, Marie Kitelinger and Diana Minnameier; brother, James (Audrey) Weihert; step-sons, Rev. Frank Jr. (Jeanette) and Tim (Becky) Pies.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank; son, Robert Pies; grandchildren, William Scott and Alan Michael Pies; and stepson, Rev. Frank (Marie) Pies.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Crown of Life Church (1292 Tally Ho Trl, Hubertus, WI 53033) with Pastor Michael Helwig presiding. The visitation will be held at the church on Monday, Feb. 13 from 10-11 a.m. Interment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park of Brookfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crown of Life Church.
