Gerald W. Schwanz, 84 Gerald W. Schwanz of Mequon went to his heavenly home on Feb. 10,  2012, at the age of 84. He was the loving brother of Armin F. (Mary);  and the loving uncle  of Janet (Michael) Beder,  JoAnne (David) Berth, Jerold (Cindy)  Schwanz, Jay (Jody) Schwanz, Douglas (Jacklyn) Schwanz, Kathleen  (Robert) Bentley, Susan (Robert) Stoecker and Glen (Kari) Beder. He  is further survived by great- and great-great-nieces, nephews, other  relatives and friends. Gerald was preceded in death by his brother, Erich H. (June) Schwanz;  and his sister, Rosabel L. Schwanz. Gerald was born in Mequon on Feb. 3, 1928, the son of Erich C. and  Marie (nee Schmeling) Schwanz, who also preceded him in death. Gerald  worked the family farm his entire life. Gerald enjoyed bowling,  fishing, hunting, playing cards and spending time with his family. A funeral service will be held today, Feb. 14, at 11 a.m. at Trinity  Ev. Lutheran Church, 11450 N. Wauwatosa Road, Mequon.  Interment will  be in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be at the church today  from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Trinity Ev.
