Patricia Louise John, 79 Patricia Louise (Tripp) John, Sept. 19, 1932, to Feb. 9, 2012. Pat’s courageous battle against cancer ended with dignity and grace on Feb. 9, 2012. She was surrounded and comforted by her loving children and grandchildren, and will be deeply missed by us all. Grandma Pat was devoted to her seven grandchildren, family and dearest friends. A true Packers fan, she was fondly named the "Packer Ref" by her family. She loved Caribbean sunsets, bowling, music (Ella and Frank), novels, movies, Jeopardy, crossword puzzles and Friday lunches with Marion. In 1988, she was inducted into the Wisconsin State Women’s Bowling Hall of Fame. She lived life to its fullest right to the end. The family wishes to thank Dr. Marks of the Froedtert Hospital Cancer Center, Horizon Home Care and Hospice and Margaret Donegan for their kindness and support through this difficult journey. They let Mom do it her way. Pat is survived by the ones she loved: Arno John; Linda, Brandon and T.J. Winters; Cindy, Carl and Bryan Scholz; Susan, Joe, Chris and Megan Buchel; William (Kathy) John and Charlie DeMars; Steve, Ann (Vogt) and Eric John. She is fondly remembered by Irmgard Buchel and Opa (Karl) Scholz; Aunt Birdie Tripp; Jeff Tripp; Greg (Vicki) Tripp; Mark (Amy) Tripp; and Jim (Julia) Tripp. She is also survived by many other dear relatives and friends. Pat was preceded in death by Fred H. Tripp, Louise K. Marshall (Kietlinski) and Robert C. Tripp. Visitation will be held Saturday, Feb. 18, at Schramka-Densow Funeral Home, 423 N. Main St., Thiensville, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Schramka-Densow Funeral Home is serving the family.
